Moisture Mats/Capillary Matting can be used to provide water to plants, seedlings etc and keep plant pots moist. It is used to help as a form of self-watering as plants absorb through its roots via a wicking action. It is a great way of preventing plants drying out while away on holidays etc. This can be done by either filling the tray or bench with water, capillary mat on top and plant pots on top or creating a water reservoir with the mat.
